Privacy

Who is responsible
Rullestolutleie.no is run by Molnar AS, company reg. no. 937 330 391, Sjøhagen 11, 4016 Stavanger, Norway. Molnar AS is the data controller for the information collected here.
What we store, and why
When you book we store your name, phone number, email address, which equipment you rent and for which dates, and the amount. If you choose delivery, we store the address the equipment is going to. If you write a message in the booking, we store it. We need all of this to carry out the rental agreement with you, and to reach you if something happens with the booking.
If you pay by card, the payment itself takes place with Stripe. We never see your card number, and we do not store it. We only store Stripe's reference to the payment, so that we can find the purchase again and refund it in case of a cancellation.
If you book for a business, we also store the organisation number, invoice address and invoice email, the name and phone number of the person who books, and a login. The password is stored encrypted by our login service, and neither we nor the website can read it.
If you ask for delivery, we send the address to Google to calculate the driving distance from Sjøhagen 11. That is the distance the price is based on.
If you write to us through the contact form, we store your name, email address and message, so that we can reply.
The legal basis
We process the information in a booking because it is necessary to fulfil the agreement with you. We must also keep invoices and purchases because the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act (bokføringsloven) requires it. Measuring how the site is used happens only if you have said yes to it, and you can change your mind whenever you like.
Who we share it with
We never sell information about you, and we do not use it for anything other than what is stated here. To run the service we use some suppliers who process information on our behalf:
- Stripe, which carries out the card payment
- Fiken, which creates and sends the invoice to business customers
- Resend, which sends order confirmations and other emails from us
- Supabase, which stores the bookings in a database with servers in the EU
- Vercel, which runs the website itself
- Google, which calculates driving distance, and which measures use of the site if you say yes
Some of these are American companies. Transfers are made under the EU's standard data protection clauses. Otherwise we only hand over information when the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
Under the Bookkeeping Act we must keep bookings, payments and invoices for five years after the end of the financial year. We delete enquiries from the contact form when the matter has been dealt with. If you have a business account with us, it stays until you ask us to remove it.
Cookies
The website uses a few cookies and storage keys that are necessary for it to work: login for business customers, temporary storage of the booking form so that you do not lose what you have filled in, and your choice below. These do not require consent.
In addition we can measure how the site is used with Google Analytics, but only if you say yes. Until you do, nothing is stored for usage statistics.
Your rights
You have the right to know what we have stored about you, to have anything wrong corrected, and to have it deleted when we no longer need it. You can also ask to have your information handed over to you. Contact us at post@rullestolutleie.no or +47 936 99 859, and we will sort it out. If you believe we are processing your information incorrectly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
