Rental terms

This is an English translation of our rental terms. If the two versions differ, the Norwegian version applies. Read the Norwegian version.

This is the agreement between you and us when you rent equipment. If you have any questions, call us on +47 936 99 859 before you book, and we will go through it over the phone.

1. Who you rent from

Rullestolutleie.no is run by Molnar AS, company reg. no. 937 330 391, Sjøhagen 11, 4016 Stavanger, Norway. Email post@rullestolutleie.no, phone +47 936 99 859. We are open every day 10:00–18:00.

2. Who can rent

You must be at least 18 years old to rent. The equipment may be used by someone other than you, for example a parent or a guest, but it is you, the person who books, who has the agreement with us. If you book on behalf of a company, you must be allowed to do so.

3. The rental period

The price is calculated per day, and the return day does not count. If you collect on Monday and return on Tuesday, you pay for one day. You see the full price before you book.

Collection and delivery are agreed within opening hours. If you order before 11:00, we can usually deliver or hand over the equipment the same day. If the equipment is to be delivered to you, someone must be able to receive it at the address you have given.

If you need to keep the equipment longer than agreed, call us before the rental ends, and we will extend it if it is available. If you return it later than agreed without telling us, we charge rent for each day or part of a day until the equipment is back with us.

4. Price and payment

Private customers pay by card when they book. Businesses with an approved account can order on invoice with 14 days to pay. We do not take a deposit.

If you choose delivery, there is an additional NOK 490 for the first 5 kilometres and NOK 18 per kilometre after that. Collecting it from us at Sjøhagen 11 is free. The price covers both our delivery to you and our collection from you at the end of the rental.

5. Cancellation and changes

If you cancel, we follow these rules, counted from the day the rental was due to start:

  • At least 7 days before the rental starts: full refund
  • At least 3 days before: half refunded
  • Less than 3 days before: no refund

The amount is refunded to the card you paid with. If you booked on invoice, the business receives a credit note. If you want to change the dates instead of cancelling, call us, and we will arrange it if the equipment is available.

If you are a private customer and have booked online, you also have a right of withdrawal under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (angrerettloven). If you ask us to start the rental before the 14-day withdrawal period has ended, and the rental has been carried out, the right of withdrawal lapses. Call us, and we will sort it out together.

6. How the equipment is to be used

The equipment is delivered cleaned, disinfected and checked, and it is adjusted for the person who will use it. We show you how it works before you leave. Use it as intended, and do not make any changes to it. If you are in doubt about anything, it is better to call us once too often.

The equipment must not be lent or rented on to others, and it must not be taken out of the country without us having agreed it in advance.

7. If something breaks

The equipment is insured through us, and you do not pay for normal wear and tear. If anything else happens, call us straight away, even if you only suspect that something is wrong. Do not keep using the equipment if you are unsure whether it is safe.

If the equipment is damaged through careless use, or is not returned, you may be liable for the repair or for the value of the equipment. In case of theft, you must report it to the police and send us the case number.

If the equipment breaks down through no fault of yours, we will sort it out: you get equivalent equipment as quickly as we can, or your money back for the part of the rental you could not use.

8. If we cannot deliver

If something unexpected means that we cannot deliver what you have booked, we will tell you as soon as we know, and you get the full amount back. We always try to find other equipment for you first.

9. Personal data

What we store about you, why, and for how long is described on the privacy page.

10. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied, call us first, and we will try to solve it straight away. If we do not manage to, you can, as a consumer, take the matter to the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet). These terms do not limit the rights you have under Norwegian consumer law.

The terms apply from 28 September 2026. We may change them, but for a booking the terms always apply as they were when you booked.
